I wanted to share more about why I decided to participate as a Student Visionary of the Year. One of my Mom's best friends from college, Angela, has a son named Oliver who is 12. Our family loves spending time with Angela and Oliver! In 2023, Oliver was diagnosed with stage 4 non-hodgkins lymphoma and burkitt's leukemia. He spent many months enduring treatment at St. Jude's hospital in Memphis. I cannot imagine what he went through but I know he was very brave and strong!! It was a TOUGH battle, but he overcame cancer and is in remission! I am so happy he is living life again as a normal kid and that we all got to have fun together in 2024 at Ole Miss games! I want to help eliminate leukemia and lymphoma for kids like Oliver, and I appreciate your support in that effort!
